Prawn and Chestnut Wontons

Serves 4
Ingredients:

  • 8 green prawns peeled and finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 4 water chestnuts finely diced
  • small bunch of coriander finely chopped
  • 1 packet wonton wrappers

Method:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl
  • Place a heaped teaspoon of mixture onto a wonton wrapper and fold
  • Line a bamboo steamer with baking paper
  • Bring a wok containing water to the boil
  • Place wontons into steamer and steam over boiling water until the wonton is cooked, about 5 mins
  • Alternatively you can fry in hot oil until cooked
